The Challenges of a New Author
When you buy a book from a new author, you might not know what goes on behind the scenes. The publishing industry has changed, and for new authors like me, getting a book into the hands of a reader is a bigger challenge than ever. We're not just competing with other books; we're competing with the noise of the entire internet.
For a new book, the biggest hurdle is getting those first few reviews. Without them, a book has no social proof, and it’s almost impossible for a potential buyer to feel confident in a purchase. But getting those first reviews is a challenge in itself, as the book can't be found unless people are looking for it.

The Amazon Algorithm
You may have heard of the "Amazon Algorithm." It's a complex system that decides which books get shown to customers. Simply put, it's a giant digital library where books with a lot of sales and positive reviews are placed in the front, and books without them are hidden on the back shelves. For a new author, the only way to get to the front of the line is by running paid ads and marketing campaigns to get those initial sales and reviews.
This can be incredibly expensive. It is often said that a new author must spend thousands of dollars to get their book seen and sold. My journey so far has proven this to be true.

The Path Forward
My goal is to create great books that inspire and bring joy to children. But I can't do it alone.
Your support goes directly towards funding marketing campaigns and running ads to help bring my books to the front of the line. Any donation, no matter how small, is a direct investment in the success of my stories and in the adventures to come.
